My Thoughts on “A Series of Unfortunate Events #11: The Grim Grotto” by Lemony Snicket

Being a life long hydrophobic individual, which in this case means one who suffers from a phobia of deep and open waters, I was not a fan of this book.  So much water.

Oh, don’t get me wrong.  I loved reading about the children’s unfortunate adventure in the submarine.  But, it was a submarine.

I also loved learning how the Baudelaire’s overcame their unfortunate events in the grotto.  Those children are incredible, and they once again proved that their inventing skills, researching abilities, and love of biting is stronger than Count Olaf’s disguises and treachery, which here means doing everything in his vile power to destroy the orphans and steal their fortune.
