TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF:
I’m a young adult fantasy author. I’ve been writing stories since I learned how to spell. I started writing fantasy in high school soon after studying Tolkien in British Lit. class. I studied pre-med in college but decided to pursue a career as an author instead of the medical field. In college I founded a writing club for women at my university. I’m a military wife and stay at home mom to my 2 year old daughter when I’m not writing.
WHAT INFLUENCED YOU TO WRITE YOUR GENRE(S)?
Definitely Tolkien and C S Lewis. I fell in love with Narnia at a young age and discovered Tolkien in high school. I also love the fact that fantasy is set in a medieval time period with lots of fighting and action. I’ve always loved old fashioned ways.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?
Tolkien, C S Lewis, Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS?
The Lord of the Rings and the Hunger Games. I think I’m tied on how many times I’ve read each trilogy.

Samwise Gamgee and Elizabeth Bennett

I’m so excited for you to read my book! We did rebrand it recently and changed the title. But I’m selling signed copies with the old title still. (I have a few copies left to get into good hands).
