TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF:
My name is Diana Rose. I received my B.A. in psychology in 2016. But after receiving my diploma, I decided that I wanted to dedicate my life to my writing so, I became a full time author. After struggling for a while to find my place “under the sun” as they say, and finally became a self-published author. I write YA Fantasy Romance and talk about finding true love in my books.
WHAT INFLUENCED YOU TO WRITE YOUR GENRE(S)?
I always enjoyed fairytales and romantic movies and books. I thought that writing my own version of a love story in a fairytale setting would be interesting. I chose YA Fantasy Romance for that reason. I chose young adult because I like that age group where you first begin to fall in love.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?
My favorite authors, oh my, I have so many author friends. Of course, I have favorites, Jessica Lauryn, Jessica Wayne, Alyson Noel, Kristi Cook, Nicholas Sparks, Annabelle Anders, my new favorite author to add to my list is Thetta James.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS?
I LOVE Jessica Lauryn’s The Rabourn Theater Series, and her Pinnacles of Power Series. I love most of Jessica Wayne’s books. I can’t really pick a favorite…..I collect books, how can I choose? All of them are my favorites because of one thing or another.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE LITERARY CHARACTERS?
My favorite literary characters, other than my own…… would probably be Allie and Noah from The Notebook, Landon and Jamie from A Walk to Remember. Any character by Jessica Lauryn, honestly, all her characters are AWESOME.
IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO SHARE WITH POTENTIAL READERS?
Hm, I want to let my readers know that my Prequel Novella (Book 6: Arranged Love) is now available on Amazon in Kindle and Paperback. Also, I want to say that I’m back to working on Book 3: Undying Love which is hopefully going to be out in 2021-2022 along with Book 2: Sacrificed Love. Also, I want to thank my readers for being so kind and patient with me during my writing process as I’m a very slow writer.
