Cinderella has always been one of my favorite tales, and when I first had an idea to reinvent the story I couldn’t stop myself from jumping into a word document!

Framed in Florals is a retelling of Cinderella that follows Kalina Arista, a garden enthusiast who can’t even afford her own pair of shoes. Her vicious step-family has done an excellent job of swindling her out of her inheritance, leaving fretting about her future. When the opportunity for a job at the palace arrives, Kalina does everything she can to make a good impression at the upcoming ball. Everything might have worked out… if she wasn’t framed for murder upon her arrival.
