The Stone of Four Fires: The Last Regret is a dark fantasy series set in 1700’s France. It follows the story of Elena, whose life is changed forever when her family home is destroyed by creatures of the night. Escaping with her best friend Lucas, she is rescued by the immortal Nepheines and taken under their protection where she learns that she is a part of a prophecy that will allow the Nepheines to create the Stone of Four Fires, and finally release themselves from the curse of immortality. As she grows older, she discovers she has the power to control fire and embarks on quests to find the other three elements and discovers that there are indeed, worse things than death.
